Rationale

The Cavalry Flag is one of the strongest graphic elements associated with the Cavalry Iconography. Also referred to as a Guidon, it was a small flag carried by one horse in each group to signify the particular designation.

This concept uses triangles to create the image of a Cavalry Flag. Its simplicity in form makes it a perfect logo, and the negative space created in the center denotes forward progress.
